Keep up with your Yoga practice this autumn
School has started. “Yay!” for those of you who are keen to get back to work. “Noooo…” for those of you who are comfortable spending endless hours patiently responding to your kids’ “why?” questions. And if you don't have kids - you must have even more time for you.
The weather is somewhat questionable at the moment, but fear not - we’ve got some tips to keep you focused on your Self this autumn.
- Short practices – instead of a 90min class, try a 60min class or a 20min online session
- Keep your gear with you – I leave a set of my yoga gear at work in case I can make a practice after work
- Set a reminder – in your calendar at work or on your phone to get to class
- Pose anywhere – if you’re busy try a few postures whilst you’re waiting for your kettle to boil in the morning or in line at the coffee shop. Try virabhadrasana A or samasthiti
